Sunday investigates the lives of battery hens on New Zealand farms. Animal activists filmed the conditions where animals are sick, dying and suffering in appalling conditions on factory farms. Six birds are rescued from the farm and treated by a vet described the condition of the birds as ‘appallingly poor medical condition’.
